WAND Small Grants Scheme Celebration and Dissemination Event: To be re-scheduled

The West Australian Network for Dissemination (WAND) warmly invites you to a dissemination event to celebrate the completion of projects funded by the 2016 WAND Small Grants Scheme.  The following recipients will present the outcomes of their projects:

  • Curtin University: Mr Lionel Skinner & Associate Professor Steve McKenna: The impact of an online game on learning and teaching pedagogy on student engagement and learning outcomes

  • Edith Cowan University: Ms Tania Visosevic & Ms Amanda Myers: "How to" create a Video Essay: Assignment of the Future!
  • Murdoch University: Dr Lisa Cary & Mr Mike Bryant (Co-Leads), and Discipline Champions: Leading The Way: developing an advanced programme for leadership in learning and teaching scholarship

  • The University of Notre Dame Australia: Professor Carole Steketee, Associate Professor Lisa Goldacre, Mr Nicholas Arnold, Mrs Helen Rogers & Dr Ainslie Robinson: Creating a 'generic language' shell to enable use of PrudentiaTM curriculum mapping software across disciplines

  • The University of Western Australia: Mr Michael Ovens, Professor Andrew Lynch, Professor Erik Champion*, and Dr Susan Morris* for the project: Experiential Learning on the HTC Vive Virtual Reality Platform  (*Curtin University) 

Who should attend this event?
Anyone interested in hearing about innovative small projects funded by the 2016 WAND Small Grants Scheme. This includes learning and teaching staff and anyone keen to gauge the value of funding small learning and teaching projects in driving innovation in higher education.
