2017 WAND Sharing Day: Sharing award winning practice

You are warmly invited to attend the annual WAND Sharing Day, to hear presentations by Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) recipients

The West Australian Network for Dissemination (WAND) warmly invites you to attend the annual WAND Sharing Day, which includes presentations by previous recipients of Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT).

At this event, you will benefit from hearing award winners:

  • Share their ideas for the development of teaching excellence from across the disciplines
  • Discuss the value to the development of their practice afforded by receiving an award
  • Provide insight into the personal, professional and developmental value of awards

Attendance should help in the development of your ideas about teaching excellence, and in applications you may make for future learning and teaching awards.

Who should attend this event?

  • Anyone considering applying for an instiutional or national teaching award in the future
  • Mentors and those supporting teaching award nominees
  • Past AAUT recipients and prospective mentors for future nominees

Timetable:

  • 9.00 am: Registration
  • 9.15 – 9.30 am: Welcome
  • 9.30 – 10.30 am: Presentations by previous AAUT recipients, as per the attached schedule 
  • 10.30 – 11.00 am: Morning Tea
  • 11 am – 12.00: Presentations by previous AAUT recipients, as per the attached schedule
  • 12pm – 1.00 pm: Light lunch and networking
